COMPANY HISTORY

Extra Co was first established in Sharjah, UAE in 1979 with a modest team of 50 employees producing small fiberglass tanks. Since then, we have significantly grown in size and capabilities to position ourselves as a leading engineering and manufacturing group in the region; with thousands of different products and solutions and over 3,500 people throughout the United Arab Emirates and the region.

Our products and services have reached far and wide across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States of America. Since our inception, we have helped clients complete more than 4,000 projects that have created jobs, grown economies, increased access to energy, resources, and vital services, and made the world a safer, cleaner place.

Throughout our operations, we have adopted state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and pioneered new manufacturing methods to bring customer aspirations from concept to reality; all while maintaining the highest quality standards. We hold several accreditations for our product ranges and operations procedures from the most globally acknowledged and reputable quality standard institutions to ensure top-quality production and execution while applying the highest operational safety standards.

We have acquired many certifications and accreditations for various aspects of our work, from certifications for our quality management system, environmental management and occupational health and safety, to product-specific ratings for pressure, water quality, temperature, fire resistance, and others.
