Extra Co Fibre Glass & Prefab is established
Established Extra Co Fibre Glass & Prefab Houses L.L.C. in Sharjah, UAE, and started production of our first water tank made of Fibre Glass, followed by our first set of Prefab Houses within a couple of months.
Expanded manufacturing processes for Fibre Glass production
Expanded manufacturing processes for Fibre Glass production from hand layup to sprayup, pultrusion, hotpress, discontinuous and continuous filament winding expanding our capabilities to produce different types of products including but not limited to fuel and chemical tanks and pipes.
Opening of Extra Co head office building
Operations consolidated in Sharjah Industrial Zone 2 including fibre glass and pre-fabricated houses.
Start of scaffolding production
Creation of scaffolding production lines catering to the construction boom of the 90s.
Evolved our prefab houses' manufacturing standards
Evolved our prefab houses' manufacturing standards from steel structure with wooden sandwhich panels and foam insulation to fire-rated cement wall panels and rockwall insulation.
Manufactured our first GRC cladding panels for exteriors
Manufactured our first GRC cladding panels for exteriors of various projects including villas and commercial projects.
Start of GRG production for building interiors
Start of GRG production for building interiors inclduing implementation of false cielings, paneling and decorative designs.
Extra Co Industries is established
Ras Al Khaimah manufacturing facilities in Al Ghail commence production of steel and metal works, aluminum and GRP, GRC, and GRG.
Opening of new Extra Co headoffice building at AL SAJAA, Sharjah
Extra Co Fibre Glass & Prefab new bulding is opened in close proximity to the manufacturing plant.
